A visit to the printer

27 Apr

With Julie MacKay from Advocate Printing in Pictou.

I made a brief visit to Advocate Printing in Pictou today. I met with their sales representative, Julie MacKay (no relation, different spelling). Up until today, I’ve been doing the initial planning of the printing of Roll Up the Rim via email with her and the main purpose of my visit was to prove to her that I actually exist. We looked at some sample books and talked about page layout and cover stock. This project is going forward. Very exciting.

I love that you’re moving forward into this process! If you need, say, an educated reader to look over your mss now so she doesn’t have to wait until pub date, gimme a call….
